Amphibious and turbine-powered
The Cessna 208 SET (Sea) is a separate type with its own rating. The type includes:
C206 A/T Soloy
C207 A/T Soloy
C208
To obtain the Cessna SET rating, a flight test is required. Cessna SET (land) is also a separate type with its own rating. You must therefore do a PC or Extension on both land and sea to extend both of these ratings. See “ EASA license endorsement list ”.

The Swedish Transport Agency approves Extension/PC SEPL or SEPS on an amphibian (e.g. C206 amphibian) but there will then be 2 protocols but can be done at the same time.
Differences training is conducted by FI/CRI and applies between seaplanes equipped with:
Amphibious floats
Flying boats
Conventional floats
If you only have the SEP Sea class, you follow the rules for PC or extension.
