The idea of building a functioning clubhouse for the business has existed for many years. But as in many similar cases, finances have always been a limiting factor. Previously, when the surrounding buildings were mainly industrial premises, the pressure for a nice-looking premises was not so great, the old barracks worked quite well. With the development of Hägernäs beach, the need to establish a business that blended into other buildings and that disturbed residents to the smallest extent possible increased.

Prior to the development of Hägernäs, Täby Municipality conducted a noise survey at our facility. The results showed that the aircraft operations generated less noise than the adjacent motorway, and only for a limited part of the year. Based on this and the area's aviation connections, Täby Municipality was positive about the club's continued existence in the area. With the support of the municipality and the developer JM, the planning of the clubhouse and the surrounding area has been able to proceed and the 50 m2 house is planned to be built in the autumn of 2009.

In addition to the clubhouse, an improved fueling facility and expanded docks will also be installed. The clubhouse is also intended to be used by housing associations and residents of Hägernäs for meetings or other social activities.
